The spelling curriculum includes both regular 2nd
grade high-frequency words and vocabulary words for extension of
spelling and reading skills in context. Your child must study the
first 12 words, and then may choose the vocabulary words for extra
challenge and fun!
Look at your child's spelling pre-test to see which names s/he needs to focus on for the test on Friday. Pre-tests come home at the beginning of the week.
