Hello and welcome to the general and vocal music website. My name is Brad Ollmann, and I am in my eighth year of teaching music with the district. I am originally from Merrill, WI, a town located approximately 190 miles due east of the Twin Cities. My mother recently retired from teaching after 40 years in the elementary classroom. It was she who inspired to me to enter this profession.
At the age of six, I began taking piano lessons. I sang in school choir from elementary school through college.
I enjoy spending my summers in Guatemala learning Spanish and volunteering as a music teacher in a Guatemalan school. I also participate in various music education professional development opportunities
throughout the year to continue to hone my skills as a music educator. Outside of school, I direct two children's choirs at Westminster Presbyterian in downtown Minneapolis.
I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and I strive to provide positive, inspiring music experiences for your child.
