Hi, my name is Mr. Olmsted. I've been teaching for the Saint Paul School District for fifteen years. This is my seventh year at Saint Anthony Park Elementary. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls and I earned my Master's Degree from the University of Minnesota Southwest State.
I love to teach! I try to make every lesson fun and exciting. I have high expectations for every child. I believe that if the lessons are too easy, learning doesn't take place to its fullest potential. I enjoy taking a student through a series of lessons and watching the educational magic take hold.
I grew up in the town of Stillwater, Minnesota. My parents had a horse ranch where I learned how to raise and train Quarter horses. My memories of growing up on a horse ranch are rich. I'll cherish those memories through life.
