WOW WORD : Foreign Languages
Each student is to write down several words and phrases from any language in the world. There are over 5,000 languages known. It's amazing.

Bring a book or any material with foreign language to share with the class. Tell us where you got the book and anything about it.
Our story for Monday night is called "The Wednesday Surprise" by Eve Bunting pp.206 -231 The grandma speaks another language besides learning English and the granddaughter has a surprise for her father's birthday.
Spelling: all, call, taught, brought, caught, ball, tall, small, thought, bought, crying, saying
Vocab.:breath, finish, loud, wonderful, practiced, wrapped, through, smart

There will be a Jumprope for Heart Demonstration Team visit our school on Wednesday, November 18th for grades 2 through 6.

Friday, Nov. 20 at 2:30 pm Reading Celebration multipurpose room A note went home last week asking for volunteers to:
1. provide healthy snacks(fruit, crackers, cheese, pretzels,) and juice
2. help decorate and set-up tables 2:00 pm
3.clean-up
