Welcome
Welcome to room 204 where children come once a week to learn, create and explore in a project based, hands on learning environment. The art curriculum is based on individual achievement through the process of making ideas come alive. By weaving core classroom subjects into visual representation students learn about their history while creating their own stories through interpretation. Elements of art are taught and discussed through drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, printmaking, pottery, weaving, and collage. Through these dialogues, children are exposed to the different expressions of the art world. Throughout the year great artists are introduced for inspiration. It is lively room with lots to explore and learn. The arts enrichment Educations Assistant at St. Anthony Park has 25 years experience working with children and has been at SAP since 1997. Hi, I am looking forward to teaching the arts with your children and their classroom teachers this school year 2007-2008. It will be a fun and exciting time as we explore the beauty, imagination, and possibility through the process of creation. Feel free to stop by or volunteer. 651-293-8735 ext. 2204 Courtney Oleen
